JASANZ Accreditation
JASANZ is the government-appointed accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand responsible for providing accreditation of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) in the fields of certification and inspection. Accreditation by JASANZ demonstrates the competence and independence of a CAB such as Conformity Certification Services. Recognised External Certification Scheme (RECS)
Conformity Certification Services Pty Ltd trading as EESS Conformity Certification is the first Recognised External Certification Scheme (RECS) under the new Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS).
Certifiers declared as a RECS have the ability to issue certification for Level 3 (declared) electrical equipment, and upload those certificate details onto the National Certification Database.
Recognised External Approval Scheme (REAS)
Pursuant to Section 15 of the NSW Government Electricity (Consumer Safety) Act 2004, Conformity Certification Services Pty Ltd is also a Recognised External Approval Scheme (REAS).
Certifiers declared as a REAS have the ability to issue certification for declared electrical equipment only, and upload those certificate details onto the National Certification Database.
